EDUCATION
Lee O. Ahlborn graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelors in Arts for Theatre, and a concentration in Theatre for Young Audiences, where they studied with Rives Collins, Lynn Kelso, and Betsy Quinn. Raised in a family of teachers, Lee has been working with young people for years in a variety of roles, including as a daycare and childcare provider, tutor, camp counselor, classroom aide, and teaching artist. They have experience working with a range of ages, and with young people on the autism spectrum and with other cognitive differences. Lee spent years working as a freelance teaching artist in Chicago, including teaching for Mudlark Theater, Adventure Stage Chicago, and Filament Theatre. Lee also has experience managing educational programs through their work at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie and Adventure Stage Chicago.
