EDUCATION

Lee O. Ahlborn graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelors in Arts for Theatre, and a concentration in Theatre for Young Audiences, where they studied with Rives Collins, Lynn Kelso, and Betsy Quinn. Raised in a family of teachers, Lee has been working with young people for years in a variety of roles, including as a daycare and childcare provider, tutor, camp counselor, classroom aide, and teaching artist. They have experience working with a range of ages, and with young people on the autism spectrum and with other cognitive differences. Lee currently works as a freelance teaching artist in Chicago, where they have taught for Mudlark Theater, Adventure Stage Chicago, and Filament Theatre. In addition to working as a teacher, Lee has experience managing educational programs at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie and Adventure Stage Chicago.
